After replacing what was certainly bad RAM on my server, it has crashed again. I don’t know why. I’m begining to suspect the motherboard again. The system is not very robust.
So: does anyone have reliability recommendations for motherboard manufacturers? Can’t be Intel (unless the sell boards for AMD chips!)

Driving home this evening, we witnessed the first flurries of the season – and it’s not even Winter yet! It will be bitter cold tonight – in fact, it’s already down to 25 degrees. Luckilly, Laura will be letting me drive the car tomorrow so that I won’t get frostbite while riding.
